What is B.V.Sc & A.H.?

B.V.Sc & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) trains you as a veterinary doctor for pets, livestock and poultry. The course runs five and a half years, including a compulsory internship.

Admission is through NEET UG. 15% of seats in government veterinary colleges are filled through the Veterinary Council of India’s All-India counselling; the rest are state seats. In Maharashtra, veterinary colleges come under the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur.
