What is B.Pharm?

B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a four-year degree in medicines: how they are made, tested, stored and used. Graduates can register as pharmacists and work in the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and drug regulation.

In Maharashtra, B.Pharm seats are filled through MHT-CET and the State CET Cell’s Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Students from both the PCB and PCM groups can apply.

FAQs

Can PCM students take B.Pharm?

Yes. In Maharashtra, B.Pharm admission accepts the MHT-CET score of either the PCM or the PCB group.

How long is B.Pharm?

Four years, in eight semesters.

What is the difference between B.Pharm and D.Pharm?

D.Pharm is a two-year diploma that lets you register as a pharmacist. B.Pharm is a four-year degree that also opens industry jobs and postgraduate study.
