About LIT University
Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University continues the Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT), founded in Nagpur in 1942 and long known for chemical engineering and chemical technology. LIT was earlier a department of RTM Nagpur University and now runs as a separate public university of the Government of Maharashtra.
