About DKTE
DKTE Society's Textile & Engineering Institute was established in 1981 in Ichalkaranji to support the town's textile industry. It became autonomous in 2016, is affiliated to Shivaji University, and was re-accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade in its second cycle in 2022. For 2026-27 it admits through MHT-CET CAP into 12 B.Tech branches, including textile programmes, with 810 seats.
